FINALLY - YES YES YES..... We finally get to read Dan's story!!!! Oh it was worth the wait. As per all of the lucious Bullet Catchers, The Mighty Dan Gallager finds his true love. This time it was with his only love.... and one that dates back 14 years. Maggie comes back into Dan's life with lots of zest, plenty of lust, and a whopper of a secret that will either make or break the serially single Dan..... LOVED IT!!!!!

This was my first read of the series, and the author, and I was not disappointed. it was a good book. A little slow moving at times, but otherwise enjoyable. I really liked the hero of the story.

Bullet Catcher Dan Gallagher travels to the Florida Keys to check on Maggie Varcek, a former lover who may be in danger. Fourteen years ago, Dan worked undercover to bring down Drug Lord Alonso Jimenez. Alonso's son, Ramon, ended up in prison after Maggie unwittingly gave inside information to Dan. Now that Ramon is out of prison, Dan fears for her safety. When Maggie realizes who Dan is, she is furious about his past betrayal. Dan is stunned when he learns that Maggie had a secret she never got a chance to tell him.
I've been waiting a long time for Dan's story and it did not disappoint. This story had a good balance of romance and suspense. I liked that there were several different people trying to acquire the information that they believe Maggie had kept hidden for years. You never knew who Maggie could trust. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

This is a new series for me, and it is good but not great. I much prefer Nora Roberts, or Jayne Ann Krentz novels as my primary relaxation reading. However, they do not produce enough to keep me entertained all the time, so this is a good secondary or lower reading distraction. It is fast paced and has the romantic suspense that is very engaging.
this whole series was very good. i think this one was one of my favorites. you cannot go wrong with this author, not a boring minute on the pages
