My least favorite so far. There was a period of time in the book that Ryon and Daria spent in the woods that seem to go on and on, and back and forth. I also didn't think the couple 'clicked' like the couples in her other books had. And in one part, (in the woods) Daria set off by herself to do something that the two of them couldn't accomplish together, never mind an inexperienced woman alone.
That being said, the first part, (maybe 1/3) of the book was really good. Her job, the way they met, all of that was well done, and so was the end. I was very glad I stuck with it, and look forward to the next one.

The book started really well and 1/3 of the way through got really stupid. I started to hate Daria and Ryon. He would go back and forth between the sweetest guy in the world to the biggest jerk. Her character completely changed once they started an opt together. She became whiny and complained a lot. For someone who is supposed to be used to being out in the wild for days, she is sure obsessed with cleanliness.

On top of that some of the situations they were in were just really dumb. The transitions to the sex scenes were horrible. Hey if I was in the woods with an army of men tracking me and an invisible monster on the loose, I think getting naked and doing it repeatedly would be really low on my list. Both made horrible decisions in regards to the operations.

I skim read it to the end. Had a lot of potential but definitely poorly written.
