Xena and Atalanta aren't exactly friends--in fact they can't stand the sight of one another. But they'll have to trust each other to rescue six kidnapped Athenian girls. Wits and swords are both needed to win the day.
Much of the story focuses on Gabrielle and her old friend from TV episode #13, Homer. Author Ru Emerson vividly immerses the reader in bustling Athens.
