This story was so cute! I was so intrigued by the premise of a 1950s list of 100 ways to find a man of marriageable quality that I had to read it. Lots of elements that were very predictable, but there were oh-so-many LOL moments, too.
The only that makes me dock it a star was the ending. It just didn't flow as smoothly as the rest of the book, mostly because the last few actions taken by the hero were done out of a selfish nature, and he could have made better choices. However, the kiss he shared with Meri was enough to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up â a beautifully written moment!
This book would definitely be a great prospect for a movie, in my humble opinion. If there's ever a petition to get that going, just tell me where to sign. . . ð
