This book wasn't as laugh-out-loud funny as some others I have read in this genre, but it was readable nonetheless. I particularly enjoyed how the author never put his wife down while making his own points about manhood and marriage - that was refreshing. He seems to really attempt to understand the dynamics between men and women, and a majority of the essays are about the relationship between himself and his wife. The book isn't going to change your life or offer any new sociological or psychological insight into the sexes - it is just an easy read. There are several short essays in the book, all are reprints from a magazine the author wrote/writes for.
