Very sad story of a girl whose family is moved suddenly into witness protection. As this teen begins a new life, her mom and dad find it much more difficult to adjust.
The book is well written and falls in line with the thoughts and actions of a preteen. The subject, though hard for someone that age, was handled beautifully by Woodson.
The book was a seemingly honest account of how a chid must feel, the different emotions, going through difficult times.
