Sorta starts where Merciless King, Elio's story kicks off of Lana's chapter at the end. Elio and due home from his honeymoon and the two detectives are fighting for evidence, that Lana has to deal with the two and the family in Elio's absence.

It's the hunt for her brother, keep the family afloat, being a woman in a man's world and trying not lust get in the way but will her detective crack the case, hunt or her heart first? Or will she crack him first???.
