This is not what you'd call an exciting book, but it was well-written and heart-warming, with its unorthodox characters, and I really liked it. Leaves you feeling good, unlike many other modern books. What it reminded me of, a little, was the several books I have read by Neville Shute.
A lovely story based in Australia and written by Kate Grenville.
