Super book! I had no idea that Bohjalian was a weekly columnist in Vermont. I am a fan of his books so this one was a pleasant little surprise. Easy to read several columns/chapters at a time.

The author gives such a beautiful, friendly picture of his town and the state of Vermont. It makes me really want to pack up my family and move in to the home next to Bohjalian and be his neighbor.

This collection of newspaper articles convinces me even more that Bohjalian is one of my favorite authors. He captures the spirit of his community, Lincoln, Vermont. Each small piece is well written and often tugs at the reader's heart. I highly recommend this book.

The first several pages didn't make me that interested I kept reading and I am glad I did. I really loved this book. Some of the columns made me laugh out loud and some almost made me cry.

I have enjoyed Chris Bohjalian's novels and so was interested in reading this journal. Some of the stories were more interesting and enjoyable than others, but all in all I liked it.

What a fun read from a favorite writer, showing another aspect of his personality and his under-stated brilliance with prose!
