I enjoyed three of the four stories, not bad for an anthology.....some are more seasonal than others, but quick, easy reads.......

The first story in this book was good, and the second was ok; a little strange. The third one was trashy and I quit at that and threw the book away. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Just my opinion.

Good read. Anthology with a Christmas homecoming theme [or at least a Christmas setting].

The stories are "Christmas of the Red Chiefs" by Linda Lael Miller, "Once Upon a Christmas" by Catherine Mulvany, "Meltdown" by Julie Leto and "You Can Count On Me" by Roxanne St. Claire. [This last is part of the author's series, Bullet Catchers.] All were good reads although I thought the Julie Leto story wasn't particularly 'Christmasy' - especially compared the first two. The Bullet Catchers story was set in New York at Christmastime but that had little to do with the story - but it was really great action story [hot Russian hero, need I say more?]

Overall leaves the reader with a nice warm feeling...

Four good stories to get you ready for the holidays!! I liked Linda Lael Miller's story best..."Christmas of the Red Chiefs." It's about a single mom who mends a painful bridge in her past while meeting a single dad and his two sons. The sons are the "Red Chiefs." The story moves quickly but is warm-hearted.

"Once Upon a Christmas" is Catherine Mulvany's contribution. It's about a young teenage girl that is so star-struck by a football player, that she can't tell that his brother is sweet on her...until several years later and some divine intervention.

"Meltdown" is by Julie Leto. It's an unusual story about a Latino PR female that's hired by a non-profit organization to help change the CEO's public image. Problem is that she's already got the hots for him--and he's sweet on her, too. As you can imagine, the result is a sizzling tale of passion.

"You Can Count on Me" is authored by Roxanne St. Claire. Her female character is one of the "Bullet Catchers." These are bodyguards for hire, and she winds up guarding a Russian guy and his daughter in this tale of intrigue. The sparks really fly in this one, too, as you try to solve the mystery.

All were good stories and I highly recommend this book!

This book contains four short stories for the Christmas holiday.

The stories by Linda Lael Miller and Roxanne St. Claire were the best. This is my first Roxanne St. Claire story and I'll definitely be picking up more bullet catcher books.

Catherine Mulvany's story was a little strange but readable. I did not like the Julie Leto story. It was a waste of time.

Overall, I'd recommend two of the stories. You can skip the rest. My rating: 2.5 Stars.

I felt the Christmas theme was forced with the last two stories, but overall worth the time.

Linda Lael Miller delivers a holidaya miracle in the bittersweet tale of a young woman who can't hide her broken heart, or here past, when she returns to her hometown. But a sexy widower may just help her discover the true meaning of home in Christmas of the Red Chiefs.
Catherine Mulvany spins a fairy tale come true in Once Upon a Christmas. They flirted as teenagers, but it takes time and some divine intervention, to bring two star crossed lovers together at last. Julie Leto pairs fire and ice in Meltdownm the sensual tale of a Cuban American Pr whiz whose job description includes thawing out her CEO boss's frosty image. Will their sparks torch into flames of passion. Roxanne St. Claire unwraps the thrills of Christmas in New York, where a female bodyguard toys with a dangerous desire for a mysterious hunk while protecting his young daughter. Its a riky game with passion as the prize in You can count on me.

Miller and Roxanne's stories are the best

Other's -- I had a hard time following but
the other two stories are worth reading
