His hopes are high. It's lonely being an old immortal. He quickly finds that women have changed a bit. They aren't quite so biddable as he would expect.
Another great addition to the Argeneau series. Many of the characters who had their stories in previous books, join the fun and humor in Sherry and Basil's story. It's not all fun and games though, as the no-fangers make their appearance. Leo isn't ready to give up on his quest to get Stephanie back just yet. The next book, About a Vampire, is Justin Bricker's story.

Over all its a great story, there are some cons in this story but a whole lot of pros. Cons- Basil doesnt deem to break out of his old century shell and be more up to date wise. I forgot some of the characters since I didnt remember names like Mortimer & Sam, Harper or Anders and some others, I might reread the whole lot of 21 books later one to refresh my mind when I go ans reread this one.We wont get to see Sherry be turned like the others that their life mate was changed over. And the ending just that it ends very quickly like a cliffhanger. Pros, many times the joke is on Lucian more then a few times, as ROFL and much more.
