What a marvelous gem of a book! You will look at the artwork and say to yourself "This really does look familiar".....and familiar it should be! Accomplished artist, Susan Herbert, has 'feline-ized'some great paintings done by Monet, Manet and Renoir to name but a few in her own vivid style. I laughed out loud when I saw her cat verion of Van Gogh's "Self-portrait"!
All of Susan Herbert's Cats books are delightful with foolishly fulsome felines, and this one is no exception! Herbert skillfully recreates some of the most renowned paintings of this era and this book will enthrall both art advocates or cat connoisseurs alike.
