Most amazing book I've read in a long time: Pran Nath Razdan, a boy who will become the impressionist was passed off by his Indian mother as the child of her husband, a wealthy man of high clas. From there it goes on wildly. Excellent concepts of religion, race, nationalities and much, much more of human nature.

This book has remained at the top of my list of favorites for several years now. Kunzru creates a fascinating study of the construction of identity, demonstrating that class, race, nationality, and even gender are flexible; we see what we want to see. Highly recommended.
