I enjoyed this - good legal thriller - pretty old school! Kept me interested despite its length. I thought it was great character development.

A courtroom thriller about a tough NYC prosecutor obsessed with convicting a big time city mover & shaker accused of murdering his mistress increasingly suspects the man may in fact be innocent of this crime.

Manhattan prosecutor Joe Estrada is assigned to retry millionaire real-estate developer and community hero Roberto Morales for the brutal rape/murder of his mistress. Estrada, a man of conviction, discovers early on that his case is far weaker than he thought. The trial he thought would make his career could just as easily ruin it.
Searching to develop a viable replacement for evidence declared inadmissible when Morales' earlier conviction is reversed, Estrada turns up information that put shim in a hammerlock. Any move he makes will have serious, indeed dangerous, personal and professional consequences.
As he searches for a way out of his bind, Estrada must face the prosecutor's ultimate question: Did the man who stands accused actually commit the crime? It is only at the last minute that he discovers the route to the truth. And what he finds is---Inadmissible Evidence.

"fascinating... Every bit the nail-biter you'd you would expect from the author of Reasonable Doubt." The New York Times Book Review

From cover:
For tough New York City prosecutor Joe Estrada, the law is his life. That's why he's determined to get the goods on millionaire real-estate tycoon and community hero Roberto Morales, who is accused of raping and murdering his mistress. The more Joe investigates, however, the closer he moves to the possibility that Morales is innocent and that all he has to go on is...INADMISSABLE EVIDENCE.

Fast paced, and Intricately plotted..maintains suspense throughout...Good read but back cover is half torn. Was a used book when I got it. If that bothers you don't order. It is in otherwise good reading shape.

This book has creases on the binding and a small tear on the front cover. Book is in fair condition, not perfect.
