Resisted reading this one for quite awhile, despite several good reviews. Shortly after starting I wondered why I was reading about an 11 year old boy...then I was hooked. The world building is wonderful, and the author emotionally sucked me into the story. Thoroughly enjoyed reading about Inda and his friends growing up in difficult times under challenging circumstances. Great read!
I really injoyed this first book of the Inda series. I have already read the second book "Fox". I am really looking forward to the next two if I can find them. This book is about Inda going off to acadamy and learning the skills he needs to fill his position in life. Then life takes a dangerous turn and now he is in exile, and still learning.
