There were so many things that happened in this book - learning more about the afterlife (a LOT more at one point) and death and vampires and much more. Lots happened with character relationships, especially Paige and Lucas and Lucas and his father. Even perhaps the beginning of one between Jaime and Jeremy. I enjoyed seeing Elena and Clay again. Meeting Eve was also great - now I understand better how the next book can be her book even though she's dead. These books are just really "wow" books.

Industrial Magic is the fourth book in the Women of the Otherworld series and a follow up to Dime Store Magic. Industrial Magic stars Paige and her boyfriend Lucas as they attempt to stop a murder who is killing off the children of important Cabal members. Along with the exciting plot, we get a sweet romance, and plenty of expansion on the Underworld universe. We learn about vampires and LOTS about the afterlife, which will set things up for the next book, Haunted. Industrial Magic, like all of the books in the series before it, is an example of well written horror/paranormal. I can't wait to read the next book.

This is the 4th book in the Women of the Otherworld series. Although this book was a little slow to start, I enjoyed it. You really get to know Paige & Lucas and are introduced to a few new characters...and Elena & Clay are back! I love how this author intertwines the characters, so each book in the series can focus on each of their stories.

I've been trying to read this series for some time and finally read one (this one). I know I'm jumping in the middle of the series but I really liked this book. BTW, comparisons are odious, but I came to this series from Laurell K Hamilton. This series has sex scenes, but not nearly as explicit as Hamilton's; nor is the sex a najor plot element. I'm not saying one approach is better than the other, just comparing the two bodies of work.

Armstrong doesn't disappoint. This book continues with Paige Winterbourne as narrator and introduces some very memorable characters. Armstrong's forte is characters with depth and complexity, though the story is also good.

Usually you start to see signs of a writer's boredom or lack of imagination as the series goes on, but Kelley Armstrong is definitely not bored and shows no sign of losing her imagination. This is another Paige book with plenty of excitement and intrigue to keep you guessing. We are also introduced to Savannah's mother. That's right, boys and girls, pay attention because you get your first taste of Eve... enough to make you wish you could find a copy of "Haunted"!

Very entertaining story.
Kelley Armstrong is a great writer, who writes adventuresome novels filled with equal parts romance and sex, humor and fun, and magic and mayhem, winding several storylines together in her Women of the Otherworld novels, dealing with witches, werewolves, and demons. I enjoyed them enough when I read them for the first time, that this request for her books was actually a second go around, because I wanted to read them again, and add them to my own private stash of books. I highly recommend them to all magic lovers out there.

AFter reading the first 3, she is at least consistant. However, it is not one to keep me on the edge of my seat.
This was a great sequel to Paige's story, and a wonderful 4th addition to Kelley Armstrong's series. She makes you fall in love with her characters, and you love them all equally! She keeps me laughing, keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I can't wait to read the next book!

Though I read the 4th book last I enjoyed the adventure! This adventure brought everyone together just as it did in 13 and gave a preview of how each could help using each others strengths and weaknesses. Paige and Lucas are headed down a path together, Jaime meets Jeremy, Aaron get Cassandra to admit she needs to be more involved in the vampire community, due to a crazy spook haunting Jaime which turns out to be a murdered cabal victim in search or eradicating the competition in city without a cabal office. This interracial mistake led to the deaths of many cabal children, where our story opens and closes... good story!

Industrial Magic is Canadian author Kelley Armstrong's fourth installment in the Otherworld series. The Otherworld series is a world not much different from our own, but includes demons, deities, vampires, werewolves, witches, sorcerers, shaman, druids, necromancers, clairvoyants, and much more. The supernatural world lies just under the surface of the known world and definitely has nasty teeth. With Industrial Magic, we are once again treated to a delightful adventure that will suck you in and not let go until the end.
At the conclusion of Dime Store Magic, Paige and Lucas have become guardians of Savannah. Since Paige's house was destroyed, they spent the summer driving around the country ending up in Portland, Oregon. Industrial Magic opens with Paige being approached by Lucas' father, Benicio Cortez. Benicio is a sorcerer and the CEO of the Cortez Cabal, a large company that employees supernaturals and has shady moral dealings.
Industrial Magic is a book not to be missed. The action is fantastic and the drama is very intense. Kelley Armstrong creates such fun characters that really jump off the pages. The book is fast paced with lots of unexpected turns. Like the other books in the Otherworld series, I wanted more after finishing Industrial Magic.
