I found this very long (1000+ pages) and twisty story all-encompassing to the point that when I finished it I felt like I was missing regular talks with a friend. I have never played an online multi-player game or used Twitter but the murder involves real people and I found it compelling. The will they/won't they aspect of Cormoran and Robin's relationship is also a highlight of the series for me.
The main mystery in this novel is incredibly tedious but the fireworks between Strike and Robin kept me reading.
