I could not put "Innocent in Death" down. Although, I guessed the killer from the beginning, I hoped I was wrong.

All is well that ends well. The journey through this book was the best entertainment! The solution to the mystery does not make anyone happy. that said, I thought it was a great book

Newest in the series. This one was somewhat more predictable. I figured out the who early on...and the storyplot just didn't seem as intriguing as the other installments. However, as an addicted fan to this series...of course I read all in one sitting! Enjoy.

Excellent! Love this series! In this book, Eve is surprised at her own reaction when she has competition for Roarke's attention.

When I ordered this book, I didn't realize it was part of a long series. Once I noticed, I ordered the first book of the series then read it before this one, and although I liked it, I wasn't very impressed. I couldn't put this book down though. Very good writing and great suspense. This is not my normal book genre but I would highly recommend it.

J.D. Robb continues her Death series and this one, as all of them in my opinion, does not disappoint.

Totally awesome! Holy crap what a stunning conclusion. Of all the cases Eve Dallas has investigated, I'd have to say that this is the hardest yet - psychologically for Eve. It starts with a young history teachers murder and with absolutely no suspects. Enter an old flame of Roarke's whose causing trouble between Eve and Roarke. And then another teacher murdered at the same school. Just amazing writing. You can actually feel the emotions sparking from Eve and Roarke as they duke it out. I love this series more and more as I read it. J.D. Robb is truly a spectacular author.

There is more angst than usual between Lt. Dallas and her mega-rich husband, Rourke. A stunning woman from his past appears and distracts Dallas from her case of a popular young teacher who is slain in his classroom. This is one of the only series that I HAVE to read in hardback as I can't wait for the paper.

The future of New York looks crime ridden with clever, sneaky murders. I'm happy to read about Eve Dallas, who kicks butt and bites her husband's bottom lip.

Eve Dallas is on the job looking for the killer of a high school history teacher and unravels all kinds of secrets that the teachers who worked with him are keeping under wraps. Lots of intrigue and plot twists. Good book.

I've said before that the "...IN DEATH" series by J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts) is my all-time favorite series, and after 24 books, that still holds true.

With INNOCENT IN DEATH, I spent as much time crying over the emotional disturbance between my favorite couple, Eve Dallas and Roarke, as I did trying to find out who committed the crimes.

When a likeable, all-around good guy teacher at a private school ends up dead, poisoned by ricin in his hot chocolate, the school is in shock. Eve immediately realizes that not all is at it seems at the school; that everyone, from the principal, to the other teachers, to the students, and to their parents have things they'd rather keep hidden.

While trying to solve the murder of Craig Foster, and the subsequent death of yet another teacher, Eve must deal with the emotional roller-coaster of the reappearance of one of Roarke's old flames. And unlike the majority of women from Roarke's past, Magdelena Purcell is a woman that Roarke never forgot.

As one passage states, when Magdelena informs Eve that Roarke didn't leave her, but that it happened the other way around, both women know that that small distinction makes all the difference.

INNOCENT IN DEATH is one of my new favorites in the series. Not only was the mystery an interesting and compelling one (with a suspect that I didn't see coming), but the true, deep emotions of my favorite couple made this a real winner. Thankfully, everything worked itself out in the end, and my heart, along with Eve's, is finally feeling lighter.

Due to the fact that this takes place in the future, there are terms that differ greatly from today's more familiar lingo. It was an interesting book with lots of twists and turns in the story which led to a surprising ending. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a mystery and a story within a story.

The latest Robb novel, and by far one on her best. Eve is in a new situation never explored in her prior cases. I really enjoyed it, and you will too!

This one is just a little "more". She always is a good read, and I love all the "in deaths", but this one is her best in the series, imho.

I'm not sure if WOW sums up effectively the reactions and feelings this book brought out of me. This installment so far has to be the most shocking out of the entire series. Eve has seen her share of the evil in the world. She has lived through it and survived it and brought so many of the perpetrators of evil to justice. The identity of this villain comes as a major shock and surprise to everyone around Eve, but not Eve. Nothing shocks or surprises her when it comes to the evil in people. But she maintains a cool head and goes after the killer with cunning and direct precision that left me impressed with her skill and reeling in surprise at the same time.

Equally impressive is the way Eve deals with a woman from Roark's past whose intentions are not as friendly and innocent as she would like us to believe. Eve shows a very human and vulnerable side of her while trying to understand her emotions and deal with the situation so it doesn't destroy her marriage. I especially enjoyed that Somerset and Eve were on the same side for a change when it came to this situation. Fans of this series will continue to appreciate the witty sarcasm and insults exchanged between them as well as the humor at Eve's discomfort around Mavis's baby.

Once again, Eve Dallas is at her best. This time though, a scary twist keeps you wondering. The ending is a real knock out.

JD Robb writes great stories, but this one was just a little easy. I read it all in one day and had it pretty well figured out halfway through. She replaces good real keep you guessing mystery for shock value this time. The fist throws between Dallas and Roarke are better than usual.

Lt. Eve Dallas and Detective Delia Peabody are called to the exclusive Sarah Child Academy where History teacher Craig Foster was found dead. His drink that he brought from home was laced with ricin. Dallas and Peabody begin interviewing the school's staff and the two students who found Mr. Foster. They quickly learn that some of the staff are keeping secrets. Eve finds it hard to concentrate on the case because Roarke's ex-girlfriend is back and is making trouble.

Another excellent mystery in the Eve Dallas series. There were several suspects in this one. I kept changing my mind until I finally figured out whodunit.

I loved the relationship portion of this story. Roarke can't see that his ex is manipulating him, and Eve is livid. I loved that Summerset was in total agreement with Eve about the whole situation. My rating: 5 Stars.
