Inspector Imanishi, a Haiku poet, bonsi affecionando and most dogged homicide detective in Tokyo grabs ahold of his current case with an such an obsession he works on his own time with his own funds at the chagrin of his supportive wife. This book is an intriguing slice of the mores and habits of Japanese society combined with an interesting literary mystery. Highly recommended.
