good epic space armada battles. Would have liked a little more detail of the battles and ships.
What can you say about David Weber? His books are the epitome of future warfare. This is book one of a series of four upon which he collaborated with Steve White. These were written some years ago. This is the first I had heard of Mr. White. However, these are the usual space operas of Weber. As you read this, you can see how the Honor Harrington series and the Safehold series can grow from this series. His characters are, as always, larger than life, the sort of people you wish you could know. The alien villains are totally evil and deserve to die terrible deaths. There is a great deal of action. I am just finishing the third book now and eager to dive into the fourth.
