You know it is a good murder mystery when almost all the characters are kooks, if not entirely off-the-wall, and there is a chuckle on almost every page. Still, unlike most murder mysteries, the cops working in the background are actually competent, can put two and two together to get four, and show up just in the nick of time.
For whatever reason, everything is wrapped up nicely at the end. Although I wonder what happened to the LPs.
