Amusing chick-lit story of mother-daughter estrangement and reconciliation, plus romance.

This was a really fun and quick read. I'm not sure if it was intended for teens or adults, but I think both would enjoy it.

Leigh hasn't seen her divorced mother in ages. Annika is in Ireland filming and dad thinks this is a perfect time for the two to bond. Leigh would rather spend time texting her best friend. Annika would rather try to look 30 than the mother role she's destined to play. When Leigh meets Annika's "son", things start to look up for Leigh. Especially when she's cast in the movie! Oh no she didn't! Cute but I really couldn't get beyond Leigh's whinning and "oh-poor-me" attitude.

This was a great read. It kept my attention and was very amusing. I loved it. I had a hard time dealing with Anikka's lack of motherly instinct and leigh's victimized attitude, but overall, a great book.
