I bought this book from my local library when it was selling some of its retired books. I thought it was a decent story--read it in about three days. Some of the criticisms in the one- and two-star (Amazon) reviews relate to the author's inaccurate portrayal of the Jewish community. I'm not Jewish so I didn't know if what the author was writing was correct.

I'm giving it three instead of four or five stars because of the liberal use of the "F" word and also a couple of the sexual scenes which really added nothing to the story. Rebekah, the protagonist, was not particularly well developed. I didn't care one way or the other about her. Her rescue from the garage seemed a little too convenient and unbelievable.

This isn't a terrible book but it's also not a great one. I plan to read the next book (thus far there are two more books in this series). Maybe there will be more character and plot development.
