Wow....I loved this book. It is over 400 pages and it held my interest all the way through. I was really surprised that this book didn't have more ratings. It is wonderful. I am now reading the 2nd Book, Rising Tides, which is also over 400 pages. I am half way through and LOVING IT.

Very intriguing book to read! It draws the reader into the plot really well. If you haven't read Emilie Richards books before, this one is a really good one to start with! :-)

An elderly white woman wants to tell her story to a black journalist in New Orleans during the civil rights era. Very good book, hard to put down.
