A good read but not a great read -- meaning that I found I could put it down easily and pick it up later. It was hardly riveting. Henry is a shallow non-person and their is mild suspense waiting to see if he ever develops any depth.

I was really looking forward to reading this book since it seems to be pretty popular. Now that I've read it, I must say that I don't get all the hype. The Irresistible Henry House, wasn't all that irresistible. It was kind of a boring, long read. The premise seemed interesting enough, but I'm glad to be finished with it and moving on.

I found the premise of this book fascinating, and the research that was obviously done was great. The story and the characters were good too- it was just a tad too long and repetitive. If it had been 100 pages shorter, it would have been awesome.

I would read more books by Grunwald though.
