I liked the idea of an arranged marriage in twenty-first century America. It was this unusual take on the Biblical story of Isaac and Rebekah that peaked my interest for reading this story. I felt that it took too long for Luke and Becky to meet (almost 1/3 of the way into the book) and that made the beginning drag for me as if I were reading too much back story. After they met, the pacing picked up and it was a nice story. I liked that Luke was committed to his word which made him work hard at making their marriage work
