Celia is still trying to come to terms with her human-vampire-siren abilities. She refuses to drink packaged blood so her vampire is not as strong as it could be. She has not taken enough time to research her siren abilities. Celia does not use the siren abilities she has even when in situations dangerous to her. Sometimes her principles get a bit irritating.
In my opinion, she should be letting John Creede further into her life and winding up her relationship with her old boyfriend Bruno. John seem the best fit for her. Besides the fact that he is super hot.
Still a great series.

This one was a dozy. Whether it's a zombie plague, people repeatedly trying to frame her, or her Grandma choosing her alcoholic daughter over her, Celia just can't catch a break. That being said, I enjoyed every minute of this book once I got started.
One thing that I could leave is the love triangle with Bruno and John. I will be disappointed if Celia ends up with the one who betrayed her. The book's ending is very open ended.
