I absolutely loved this story of a divorced mother, her two daughters, and her sister who decide to spend a month at their family's summer home in Tuckernuck to each try and heal from different heartaches. I have loved everything written by Elin Hilderbrand, and this one did not disappoint. Her descriptions of Tuckernuck make the reader wish that they were there on that beautiful, serene island right along with the characters of the story.

I loved this novel, i was sad when it was over! Really got to know the characters and felt like I was also spending time on an island off the East Coast. a great book about sisters, relationships, love and loss, not a sad book, kept me intersted throughout.

I really love this author. However, this was not one of her best. It took me a LONG time to finish it as it didn't grab my attention like some of her other ones. It was a bit more depressing than her other books. All the characters had some sort of doom and gloom to deal with. It was a pretty good story, just not much to hold my attention to finish it in a day or so. It took me a good two weeks to muddle through, which isn't like me at all, but I am glad I finished it. It wrapped up a little quick and too perfectly in the end, but I guess that's what we all want anyway, right!

This is the first book I have read by the author. Fun, easy beach reach if that's what you are in the mood for. My only criticism is that it seemed a little too long. However, I probably will read more by the author.

This is the 2nd book I've read by this author. Interesting story about a woman, her 2 daughters & her sister away at their home in Tuckernauk. They are all going thru some issues amongst themselves and are able to console each other since there's not much else to do on the island. Quick read and looking forward to reading another book by the same author.

This took me a while to get into, but I soldiered on and by almost halfway, it had me and it wouldn't let go. By then, all the backstories for each character were explained and I felt comfortable with all the different personalities and their individual problems. The ending was good in that it didn't leave anything unresolved....it was all tidied up nice and neat.

This book tells the story of 2 sisters that go to an old summer vacation island to heal from a traumatic experience. They are accompanied by their mom and her sister. There are many parallel story lines. I could not put this book down! I loved the writing style and the development of the characters. I look forward to reading more from this author.
