This book is hilarious . . . While there are grisly murders to be solved, there also are several subplots that will have you laughing out loud.

I wouldn't get this abridged version, however. There is an unabridged CD version of Isle of Dogs . . . it is one of my favorite audiobooks and fully capable of distracting me on long, long trips.
