Great medical thriller about a very human and likable CDC doctor and a mysterious illness and xenotransplantation. I loved it and am waiting for this authors next novel.

Smart characters, fast-paced action and a killer disease - a really good first medical novel with a story that pulls you in.
Really scary. A prediction of future? 516 pages of great reading.
Keeps you turning the pages.
This is a bizarre tale of infectious disease and what happens when it hits a group home for the mentally handicapped. It chronicles the doings of CDC Dr. McCormick during his investigation into the unrecognizable outbreak. It's a little over the top since I really didn't expect a CDC officer to be breaking and entering, carrying a gun or evading the police. I did enjoy the encounters with both of his ex-girlfriends and if you discount the outlandish heroics, the story itself was a good one.
loved this book. A hospital thriller and tomorrow's headlines. Highly recommend this one.
It was a good book but not his best. His charterer is a whining brat. Who needs to grow up and except life as it is.
I read part two and it was more of the same, I gave up on them.

"Straight out of today's hospitals and labs--and tomorrow's headlines--comes a scalpel-sharp thriller from medical insider Joshua Spanogle."
