This is a very detailed and interesting novel about the Jews history taken from the Bible. It covers from 605 BCE to the unknown future. History becomes vibrantly alive through the characters of Israel, My Beloved - from the beautiful yet strong willed Sarah to the endearing couple Enoch and Rebecca to the courageous and devoted Samuel.

I loved this book!

"It's a masterful saga of survival, hope, dreams, and glory! Journey through centuries of Jewish despair as Israel's sons and daughters are scattered across the globe, fleeing ruthless Grecian and Roman conquerors, bloodthirsty Crusaders, and terrifying leaders of the Third Reich. An intriguing novel overflowing with blossoming romance, tragic rebellion, and the restoring power of God's unconditional love."--copied

An absolutely beautiful story depicting God's relationship with Israel. As Ezekiel says: He pick her up as an abandoned babe on the wayside and set her in His own house and cared for her. And when the time was right for love, He took her to Himself and made her His bride. A timeless tale of love and redemptiom.

I have thouroughly enjoed this book over the years each time I read it. I get copies to give as gifts when I can as well. It's a wonderful story that shows God's abounding love for Israel and all His children.
