This was better than most of L Graham's last few bks. I had hopes that it was going to be a keeper but it didn't quite sustain the emotional intensity necessary to make it one for me. There's a cute dog it the bk that I liked, too, though.
Luc Peretti spurned the love of his life when he believed she slept with his brother. After all, why would Roberto, his flesh and blood, lie to him? Before the end of the first chapter, that question is addressed and now it's time to deal with the obvious fallout.
This story serves to remind us that all the money in the world can't buy happiness and love. A very well-told story from one of the best.

She can't forget Luc's rejection of her then, or how she refused his wicked family when they tried to bribe her to end her pregnancy. Since then, she's raised her son single-handedly-poverty-stricken but proud. But Luc is determined to take back the bride and child who were stolen from him-and there's one quick and effective way to do it:marriage!
