It was fun with very cute dialogue. I also liked that both characters had some issues to work through & that marriage wasn't happily ever after. I have to say that Eve's issues got a tad bit annoying. I also didn't buy that she would be such a great PR person and be socially clueless but it was still a pretty good book.
I'm a bit torn about how to rate this one. I absolutely loved the first 3/4 of the book, even though I occasionally got irritated with Eve's high-strung, high-maintenance attitude. At times, her intentional rudeness and indecisiveness really grated on me.
Nolan, on the other hand, was a gem. What a sweet, hot, sexy, and understanding hero. Loved him!
I flew through the first part of the book, loving the witty exchanges and steamy chemistry between the hero and heroine. Then during the last quarter of the book, the author falls back on the old Vegas cliche, and I literally cringed. The last part of the book felt very rushed and was full of old cliches. I didn't really like the way the story "ended", even though it was wrapped up in a HEA bow. It felt somehow disappointing. Otherwise it was a great book.
