I enjoyed this one. While I was hoping it would continue with the first books plot, it was still very enjoyable and I can see a possible tie in for later in the series. I plan on reading the rest in the series.
Once I got past the goofiness of the cover, I found that I really liked this book! The drama felt real, the interaction between our heroes felt real, both in and out of bed, and the ending was very satisfying. This book seemed stand alone to me but I will definitely check out the rest of the series.
