All of Montgomery's books are great, and this one is one of my very, very favorites. A girl leaves her mother and grandmother to spend a summer on Prince Edward Island with her father and has a series of adventures and makes friends. A great story about the importance of family as well.
By far my favorite book of all time by L.M. Montgomery- simply magical!
