I really had enjoyed Jessicas Guide to Dating on the Dark Side so naturally I wanted to follow though and read this one.
I did like it, however I found that the backbone Jessica had at the end of the last book quickly disappeared and was more jellyfish then before. Not only this, but I found that it was easy enough to figure out who her enemies where (I'd elaborate more, but do not want to give anything away). This book also switches characters though the story which include her friend Mindy (perhaps her story should have been written separately, but it was what kept me going).
All in all, it was good, but not as good as the first. I also would recommend reading 'The Wedding of Antanasia Jessica Packwood and Lucius Valeriu'* right before reading this one. It helps put things in prospective.
I'm giving it 3 stars only because of the first book and how I liked the characters. If it where stand alone, maybe 2.
*You can find the ebook on the authors website or find a link on goodreads. I would put it, but am unsure what the policy is on PBS regarding this.
