...because I positively adore it. This book is an excellent primer for anyone who wants to learn how to make jewelry. There are lots of goregous patterns; the book follows the Dummies way of making things easy to understand; and the book has a lot of great chapters, such as how to get started on your own jewelry business (something I did not long after reading the book), how to throw fun jewelry making parties, and also how to get kids in on the fun. There's a great resources section with books, websites, catalogs and more that will be very helpful to you.

For starting out in jewelry making this is a very informative book. I enjoyed it and will use it as a reference book.
