Booyah! Cramer's book is a good basic guide to stock picking and maintaining, the latter a topic often neglected. It's not as engaging as the more autobiographical "Confessions of a Street Addict", and in fact, "Real Money" is not a biography at all, but his contribution to the personal finance/investing genre. Solid, no worrisome advice (unlike, say, Robert Kiyosaki) and readable.

Easy to read and understandable with the benefit of an occasional laugh. Jim Cramer's personality shines through. Good for beginning and advanced investors.
Very useful info - not just for novices

While I don't love all his screaming on his TV show, his advice is really useful. Over the years he has made me a better investor, and enabled me able to save for retirement successfully. It is work, but rewarding. He tells the truth as he sees it, and is MUCH better at explaining and offering advise than all the idealogical clowns on CNBC. He really does care about the average investor, who Wall Street sees simply as a good source to fleece for profits. All his books are well worth reading.
