Four romance stories, Christmas-themed... Quick, enjoyable read. My favorite by far was "Maybe This Christmas." Don't bother with the last story, though - "A Bright Red Ribbon." It is not even on par with the other stories. The writing was just terrible. I ended up skipping it, it was so bad. But the other stories make the book worth reading.

I am a Miller fan hence the reason I read this book but I was suprised with the other authors. I have her of Fern Micheals but never read anything by her, this story was funny and light hearted. Each story was funny actually. I did feel like they rushed a bit because these were short stories but overall I liked them.

4 books in one! A bright red ribbon by Fern Michaels. Can this author write any thing bad?? A girl is dumped by her boyfriend on Christmas eve. He says they need a break, and they are to meet back under the tree in 2 Christmases. She waits the 2 years, but things happen at the last minute........ Book 2 The 24 days of Christmas by Linda Lael Miller. Another of my favorites. Book 3 is Santa Unwrapped by Theresa Alan. This is about a woman who ends up volunteering at a childrens hospital on Christmas eve even though she had plenty of other things to do. One of the volunteers is in a wheelchair, hummm.... Have to read to find out. Book 4 is Maybe this Christmas by Jane Blackwood. These are all enjoyable stories.

All of these short stories are new to this book, with the exception of Fern Michael's offering (published in 1995, instead of 2004, like the others). The only author I have any experience with is Linda Lael Miller. At the end, I will rate the stories from favorite to least.
SANTA UNWRAPPED (Theresa Alan) -- 3 stars
Aimee Lachaussee has volunteered to distribute Christmas gifts at a hospital for Christmas. The three men who are partnered with Aimee are all hunks; Ryan is one of the handsome men -- in a wheelchair. Aimee asks Ryan to take a chance on her.
MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS (Jane Blackwood) -- 1 star
Laura Randall gets to travel back to a previous Christmas before her world dropped into the trash. She gets a second chance; I think this is a time-travel story. Not going there.
THE 24 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS (Linda Lael Miller) -- 4 stars
This is a complex plot; Addie Hutton is returning to her hometown after a disappointing marriage and a disastrous career crash. She rents the garage apartment on the property where she used to live (in the larger house on the same property). Frank Rayner inherited the property and lives in the larger house with his daughter. He's a widower of 2 years and is the police chief. A matchbox advent calendar brings them together. Pleasant holiday read.
THE BRIGHT RED RIBBON (Fern Michaels) -- 3 stars
Morgan Ames is dumped by her boyfriend on Christmas Eve. He says he needs his space before committing to marriage. He'll see her in 2 years. This story is so improbable, I can't believe it.
**Best to least: Miller, Alan, Michaels, Blackwood.

I have read two of the stories in this book and they are great. I didn't give it a 10 because I haven't read one and half of the stories. Have to admit the stories I did read were nice holiday treats.

I'll update my rating & review as I read more. For now, this is what I've read so far:
SANTA UNWRAPPED by Theresa Alan
What started out promising ended very unsatisfactorily. The focus wasn't on the relationship nor it's growth. Though I kept hoping for more, the ending left a gaping hole in my reader's heart.
