I'm sure I studied President John Tyler in the late '60s when I was working on degrees in History and Political Science, but I didn't remember much about him after all that time. However, after reading this book I understand why he stays near the bottom of the list when historians and political scientists rate the presidents every 5 to 10 years.

Apparently, the only thing he shines in over other presidents is he had 15 children, more than any other occupier of that office.

Still, overall it was a very interesting read and I found myself often going back to it despite the fact I had other books open. It's also a short read of 151 pages. As 8 other members have it WLed, I'm posting it now.
