Jordan McArthur and Vivianne Blackstone have to work together to save Earth and the galaxy from the Tribes machinations. Vivianne is an Earth dweller while Jordan is from another planet. Jordan has infiltrated Vivianne's business in order to help create the spaceship that is going to save the world. All kinds of things go wrong when Jordan launches the ship prematurely with an untrained crew.
I enjoyed this series and it's connection with Merlin and the Holy Grail. Though this installment wasn't as good as the others. A little too far-fetched and improbable to be believable. I really liked Jordan character and Vivanne's tenacity.
I like all her books and this one is a refreshing break from my normal werewolves and vampires..well worth the read
Good read. Futuristic setting with an action plot and new characters. You've got to admire an author who can work Merlin [currently going by the name Jordan], the Holy Grail and dragon shapeshifters into a futuristic storyline.
Jordan helps build an interstellar ship [which he designs] on Earth but has to launch before he or the ship is quite ready. The crew is made up of the handful of engineers that happened to be working aboard at the time they left + Vivianne [the head to Vesta Corp. who funded the project], one of the engineer's girlfriend who he'd smuggled aboard to show around, and a small dog they name George who seems to have smuggled himself aboard.
Although Isaac Newton would cringe at the abuse of his Laws of Motion it's a good read - just leave your scientific training at the door...
The story arc of the series is resolved in this book, so don't read these out of order.
