As the back cover says, there is a certain voyeristic appeal in reading someone's private journal. This book is no exception. Presented as a cross between a journal and a scrapbook, the story unfolds bit by bit. The main plot of the book is never presented overtly, but rather implied and hinted at by the many emails and journal entries. Still and all, if I have any complaint it is that the plot seemed rather transparent. Because I went into the book knowing that the narrator would die mysteriously, I became hyper-aware of certain cues and the timing of plot points. This does not mean that the book was not enjoyable, however, merely that it was a very quick read.

Interesting premise, a "found" journal (actually fiction) made up of clippings, e-mail messages, journal entries, recipes, etc. Intriguing.

I stayed up until 4am to finish this one! Easily read in one sitting. Simply forgo reading the back cover or any detailed reviews/critiques before you begin. A unique premise, creatively executed, that might have been even more enticing had the authors not included the disclaimer on the copyright page that it was fiction. 5 Stars

I thought this was such an interesting concept, and seeing all the creativity in this was great. The plot didn't really do it for me. It seemed like it was second place to the journaling/scrapbooking concept. It was a really quick read, but it wasn't bad.
I couldn't put this book down! Autographed copy
