An extremely well-written book about an extremely puzzling murder case. I remember hearing about this case on the news, and I was intrigued to hear the story behind the news reports. This is one that I found hard to put down. My Mother read it as well, and we have had several discussions about it, which is rare. If you like Ann Rule or other well-written true crime books, you will like this one.

This was an excellent book. It was extremely well researched. The writing was good. The only thing that bothered me was that a few things were told more than once which made the book a little longer than necessary, in my opinion. It is the story of two professors at Dartmouth who were murdered and the story of who did it and how they were caught. I really enjoyed it.

The book is well-written and researched. I was filled with outrage at how casually the families involved allowed their teen children to cut school, travel without permission, and generally get totally out of hand. Whether adequate supervision would have curbed the two murderer's impulses it's hard to say. But a community with people like this raising children has a problem. What a senseless, sad crime.
