It was supposed to hit here yesterday evening but passed completely by. Todays not supposed to be as lucky though. Have 70% chance here today and 60% tomorrow.

We are expecting some storms here and there the next few days. This is a welcome relief since we've been in the 90s the past few days. It's hot here, and I miss my cool Colorado days.

I'm still slowly chugging along. As of yesterday and today, I'm now 2.5 lbs away from a healthy BMI. It's been a long, slow, steady process, but effective and sustainable. I fluctuate some days, but overall progress is being made.

I'm 3.5 months into using the Healthi app. I've lost exactly 15 lbs (down to the decimal) since I started using it on March 9th. I'm down 17.5 lbs from my January weight.

I have a doctor's appointment wellness check up in mid July. My goal is to be down the remaining 2.5 lbs so that I register as a healthy BMI when I weigh in at that appointment. I'm still losing just about a pound a week, so my timeline is doable, but we're also visiting family the week before my appointment, and eating while traveling might impact my weight in. But, if I can weigh in within only 2 lbs of an "overweight BMI," then that will be serious progress since my last check up.

Heather, you've made steady progress. You should be so proud of yourself.

I've been slack this week and my weight is showing the tale. I'm up 8 lbs., but still showing a 3 lb. loss for the month. But I'm going to try to get a few pounds back off before the 1st of July.

I also have a checkup mid July, and I wanted to have more weight off. But at least with the up and down staying between 235 and 238, for so long, I feel like I can feel like 250 is in the past. But I had it down to 220! Maybe now that I'm truly done with taxes? (Last day till October is Saturday.)

My next doctors appt. isn't until Oct. but I plan to reschedule that appt. until after the 1st of the year sometime. I've seen the doctor more and had more tests done this year than I have in the last 10 years and unless I get sick and need the doctor, I'm not going back for simple wellness check-ups. Once a year is more than enough as far as I'm concerned. Just do a yearly check-up and write the script for my meds that I take.

I'm ending the month 4.2 lbs. less than I started it. I had lost more in the month but regained a few pounds due to water weight (excess sodium). But at least I did lose this month so that makes me happy.

I'm going to set up the July forum this morning. You can either finish out today here or jump on over to the July forum.

June ending

My first weigh in for June was right after I returned from the UK, so my June starting weight was a little high compared to other days right after that. That makes my June success look even stronger. I lost 6.4 lbs this month because of that high initial June weigh in.

Off to July....
