I loved this book! First of all, it takes place in Britannia. Secondly, the Camillii brothers are both in it (I like them and to see how they develop). Then there is the return of a devious and dangerous adversary. The murder plot is more complex, I was unable to figure out the mystery, but Lindsey Davis didn't cheat, most of the clues were there all along. This book comes after Body in the Bathhouse and although it can stand alone, it is basically a sequel. There were two specific spoofs on real historical events of England -- the Great Fire of London, and the manner of death of George of Clarence, brother to the much maligned Richard the III.
Another "hit" by Lindsey Davis!
