First, there should have been illustrations of the significant dinosaurs (instead of requiring readers to find them online). This book explains how fossils are formed so that not all dead animals form into fossils.

The Jurassic period was warmer than today, and the land masses separated and became their ecosystems. There were so many ferns that they were called "fern prairies." Two familiar plantings were there during this age: the ginkgo biloba and the horsetail. However, the horsetail today is as thin as a pencil (or so). In Jurassic times, it was a tree's diameter.

While our knowledge of the dinosaurs of the Jurassic period is far from complete, this book makes a commendable effort to shed light on the most significant ones. It also delves into the emergence of crocodiles during the Jurassic Age, emphasizing that there is still much more to uncover about this fascinating era.
