Faye Kellerman's Decker/Lazarus family continues to grow while Decker struggles through yet another twisted path to solve the crime. A good read indeed.

Not as good as previous books in this series; part of why I enjoy these books has to do with the way Kellerman includes a sub-text of Orthodox Judaism along with the main plotline, and I didn't see that here. Plus I had it figured out way too soon...

The SEVENTH book in the series featuring Peter Decker, LAPD detective and Rina Lazarus, his wife in Los Angeles, California.
Good one - I LOVE Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus!!
Excellent read for mystery fans.
A good, easy, mystery author without as much graphic imagery and profanity as others in the genre'.
LAPD Detective Peter Decker and his wife Rina Lazarus have a daughter of their own. So the savage murder of a popular high school girl on Prom night strikes home - very hard.
Excellent! Couldn't put it down!!!
This was the first of the series that I read and it got me hooked enough to get all the others. This is the introduction of the Chris character and any of the books he is in are the better books.
Good read..
One of the best of this series.
From the book cover, "The cruel and bizarre slaying of a beautiful teen leads Detective Decker into the dark heart of an exotic subculture: the seamy, sometimes violent world of Southern Carlifornia's rootless, affluent youth. But even the confession of a disturbed kid with cold "killer eyes" cannot soothe Decker's inner torment. For he knows in his gut this crime goes much deeper and higher than anyone expects - and that true justice, brutal and complete, has yet to be done."
Have never read. Not my type of reading material
