Emma Shaw is in a bind. Emma's Grandmother was worried about her and thinking about moving back from Florida to take care of her. In order to put her Grandmother's worries at rest, Emma made up a fake boyfriend, using the name of a member of her best friend's family. Now Grandma Cat is coming for a month long visit and plans to meet Emma's live-in fiancee. Just home from a tour of Afghanistan, Sean Kowalski doesn't expect to open his door and find a woman asking him to pose as her fiancee. After explaining the situation, Sean thinks she just may be crazy. But with no other plans for the near future, he decides to help her out.
Emma and Sean are a great couple, two normal people in a crazy situation trying to put Grandma Cat's fears to rest. Of course, Sean's family knows that he is not engaged to Emma, but they agree to play along with the elaborate scam. But things get sticky when Emma and Sean find that not knowing the little things about each other just might unravel their whole plan.
I loved this book. At first the plot sounds crazy, but it comes off as believable. The Kowalski family is hilarious, not letting Sean off the hook with their teasing. And the romance is great. Don't miss this book. My rating: 5 Stars.
