So, I enjoyed the first in this series ("Caught"), but this one was sooooo much better. You could really identify with the two main characters and their issues. The writing and the story were well done.

I thought Caught was great so I was really excited to this one but boy was I REALLY disappointed!
The heroine just reminded me of Britney Spears without the whole marriage/kids drama. The heroine has SO MANY issues! Sometimes I felt sorry for her while other times I felt she deserved what she got.
The hero, Derek, was not the same Derek we met in the first book! I mean in the first one he came off as this really sweet guy but this one, he was such jerk. I just couldnt believe the way he treat the heroin sometimes and the stupid heroin kept on going back/wanting him! I guess at the end Derek kind does redeem himself but it was a little too for me.

Ok, the writing was good - no doubt about that. The hero was a hunk (a given) But the heroine was a loser, & I find it interesting that this author has championed her.
All I can think of is the Brittany Spears/Paris Hilton/ poor little me/rich girl personna, and sorry - I just have absolutely NO sympathy, empathy, or compassion for people who try to shirk self-responsibility. The writing gets 4 out of 5 stars, but the subject gets 0.

Kept was my least favorite of the Gemini Men trilogy. I was looking forward to this one too. I figured the twin brother of Ethan would be just as swoon worthy. Nope, not so much. He was ok by the end but still nothing unforgetable. Alyssa was just 'alright' also. It was fun to see Ethan and Toni again though. I dont know, this one was just so...so for me.
This is the first book i've read by this author. I loved it.
The story was great with believable dialogue.Great sex scenes. I look forward to reading all of her books.
