I found this book to be fascinating. While it is quite long, 500 pages, it held my interest all the way through. The serial killer surprises me. Frank, the American is an excellent FBI agent. Though at the beginning of the book it seems that everyone involved is just spinning their wheels. It takes time and a detailed oriented Frank to identify the killer. I plan on reading more of this author. If you love reading about serial killers and are not put off by lots of blood, this book is for you. Once you get going, you won't want to put it down.

OMG, definitely not for the faint of heart. I raced through this debut by a new to me author. Monte Carlo provides a unique setting and I thought that the characters were all well developed. Can't wait to read his next book, which I think is a standalone.

This book was far and away the best mystery/thriller that I have ever read. The location; the characters and the plot were fascinating. Nothing seemed to be missing in the translation. Highly recommended to all mystery lovers. The only drawback is waiting to see if there will be another book to follow.
